The Havel city of Zehdenick is part of touristy excellent developed "Ruppin country."

1216 first time documented, it was one of the most important mariner cities in the Mark Brandenburg during 18 to 19 century.
The ruins of the 1250 established and in 1801 destroyed Cistercian monastery, the lock, a drawbridge and the museum ship are only some of interesting sights of the city, which are mentioned here.

The city's abundance of water and the well-developed infrastructure attracts water sports enthusiasts from near and far.
